TO LODGE:
Upon leaving Kona Airport, turn left and drive North toward Waimea Hwy 270.
30 minutes after leaving the airport you will come to a "T" in the road.
Turn Left toward Kawaihai. Travel one mile to a road that turns Right to Hawi and continue on Hwy 270.
Continue through Hawi Town towards Kapaau for three miles. On the left(oceanside) right after union market you will see a road with a sign marked "AHU POHAKU HO'OMAOULUHIA", turn left and follow the isgns to our retreat..
TO VACATION RENTAL HOME:
Upon leaving Kona Airport, turn left and drive North toward Waimea Hwy 270.
30 minutes after leaving the airport you will come to a "T" in the road.
Turn Left toward Kawaihai. Travel one mile to a road that turns Right to Hawi and continue on Hwy 270.
At the 18 mile marker on the ocean side of the road is Puakea Bay Ranch.
A person is at the gate every day from 8am to 4pm.
If you come at another time, follow the instructions on the code box for "Watkins/Sunderland". Come through the gate and down the road toward the ocean 1 mile.
Turn left at the intersection "Haliakala Drive",and follow the road to the end of the cul-de-sac.
The driveway winds through palm trees to the house.
